Olumuyiwa Becomes UNIPA Africa Boss

A Global Peace Educator, humanitarian leader, and diplomat, has been appointed as the Africa Regional Director of the United Nations Inter-Pacific Association (UNIPA), part of a transnational alliance committed to human rights, sustainable development, intercultural dialogue, peacebuilding, and global cooperation.

Prof. Babalola Muyiwa Ezekiel, an Ekiti Indigene, is a globally respected academician, peace ambassador, and independent international diplomat with a stellar record of service in education, innovation, and social impact, with multiple doctoral degrees.

He holds prestigious professional diplomas and postgraduate certifications from the European Open University (Germany) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, and Bioseparation Engineering, further strengthening his interdisciplinary expertise.

He was awarded the Honorary Professor/Education Ambassador from International Internship University (IIU), India, and also attended Institute of European Roma Studies, Research into Crime and International Law, Belgrade, Sabia

He studied an extensive credit certificate course on Covid 19 from Havard Medical School, Boston, USA, and obtained a certificate of Accomplishment for the examination of CoronaVirus from St’ George’s University, London, UK

Professor Olumuyiwa is the Global Vice President of NextGen University International, USA, in charge of the Research and Partnerships.

As an accomplished professor and research leader, Prof. Ezekiel has held key roles, including:

  • Chairman, Africa Academic Council of NextGen University International, USA
  • Dean/Visiting Director, Taino DNA & Genealogy Labs, USA
  • Professor of Peace and Conflict Resolution, Metropolitan International University, USA
  • Editorial Board Member, International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (Indonesia), etc.

A seasoned international political activist and advocate, he is known for championing good governance, peacebuilding, and the rights of marginalized communities. He is a diplomatic royal prince to two (2) international royal houses.

Prof. Ezekiel’s inspiring work has earned him over 30 prestigious international honors, including the Cosmos Legend Award, Global Icon Award, and the World Humanitarian Icon Award. He remains committed to empowering lives through education, innovation, and diplomacy.

He is a United Nations International Volunteer administered by UNDP and is an honored scientist for a day at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

He is also a member of the International Council on Alcohol, Drug and Traffic Safety (ICADTS), Portugal. Member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and member of (UN DESA FSDO), the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), a vital interface between global policies in the economic, social, and environmental spheres and national action.

He served as the Secretary General of the World Anti-Terrorism Organization (WATO) for Nigeria, headquarters in India, Social and Economic Council member of the Center for Global Auditorium (CGA), now Global International Central Alliance (GICA).

To this end, he is the Nigeria country representative of the World Peace Organization (WPO) from Indonesia and Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity, Albania.
